Energies is a peer-reviewed, open access journal of related scientific research, technology development, engineering policy, and management studies related to the general field of energy, from technologies of energy supply, conversion, dispatch, and final use to the physical and chemical processes behind such technologies.

These awards honour exceptional contributions to sustainable technologies, celebrating the achievements of individuals and organisations across diverse fields.
Innovation Awards
The WSSET Innovation Awards recognise the achievements of private individuals and organisations in new sustainable technologies and encourage the wider application of these new developments.
The application deadline 30th of June at 8pm (BST).
Innovative ideas are welcome in any of the following areas:
- Renewable energy systems (e.g., solar, wind, biomass, geothermal)
- Power generation technologies (e.g., CHP systems, fuel cells, anaerobic digestion plants)
- Energy efficiency (e.g., heat pumps, hybrid solar/gas systems)
- Low carbon buildings and future cities (e.g., low/zero carbon buildings, sustainable cities, sustainable materials)
- Waste management and water treatment (e.g., household and construction waste management, desalination)
- Agri-food technologies (e.g., innovative greenhouses, food drying, bioremediation)
Terry Payne Prize
We are delighted to share the exciting news that Professor Terry Payne will generously sponsor the conference registrations for 20 full-time postgraduate students pursuing their PhD. Recipients of this prestigious award are expected to independently manage the expenses associated with their travel and hotel accommodations throughout the conference.
The application deadline 10th of June at 8pm (BST).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all PhD students.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled as full-time postgraduate students at the time of submitting their abstract.
- Successful applicants must have an abstract accepted for oral and/or poster presentation at the SET2024 conference.
- Additionally, applicants are required to submit a complete manuscript by the deadline of 10th June 2024.
